Security is core to Speak Note. We follow industry best practices so your bookkeeping data stays private and available only to you.
Encryption
All traffic between your device and our servers uses TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS). Data at rest is encrypted on managed cloud infrastructure.
Authentication
Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed with strong, salted algorithms. Each request to your data is verified with a signed session token.
Row‑level isolation
Every record (transactions, invoices, customers, debts, savings) is tagged with your user ID and protected by database row‑level security policies. One user can never read or write another user's data.
Least‑privilege access
Only a small, audited team can access production systems, and only when needed for support or incident response. All admin actions are logged.
Backups
We take automated, encrypted backups of your data. You can export your data at any time.
What you can do
- Use a strong, unique password (at least 8 characters).
- Never share your password or magic links.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Report anything suspicious to security@speaknote.vip.
